I hold a postgraduate certificate (PGCert) in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the University of Oxford and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
At Southampton, I teach and convene undergraduate modules largely in British politics, public opinion, and research design. I convene a first-year module on British politics and have designed and convene a third-year module on ‘Public Opinion in Action‘, which teaches methods, coding, and substantive topics in the field. I also co-convene a second-year module ‘Elections, Public Opinion, and Parties‘, and contribute to a first-year module on ‘Crises of the 21st Century‘ and the Undergraduate Dissertation module.
I teach these with several colleagues, including Rob Johns, Vanessa Cheng-Matsuno, Jason Reifler, and Lala Muradova.

At St Hilda’s College, I was the primary tutor for the Undergraduate PPE courses on Introduction to Politics, Political Sociology, and Modern British Politics. I continued to teach Political Sociology to students at Lady Margaret Hall on a freelance basis after leaving St Hilda’s.
In 2023-2024 I convened a Masters-level module in Research Design at Southampton.
I have previously taught a range of courses in comparative politics as lecturer, seminar leader, tutorials and other formats.
